Bloom Hummus

Smooth & creamy this hummus is a perfect summer snack

It is amazing  –  with the sun shining, delicious food and a real connection to what Ireland is really all about it is a spectacular place to be this weekend. Here is one of our most sought after recipes  –  our Butter Bean Hummus. Smooth, rich and creamy with nothing but goodness it is truly delicious !!


Why not give it a go at home !

What You'll Need

1 tin butter beans ( drained )

1 clove garlic ( peeled )

1/2 lemon

1 tsp tahini

4 tbsp water

4 tbsp oil

1 tsp soy sauce ( optional )


Freezer bag

How to Do It

  1. 1Open and drain the tin of butter beans. Peel off any skins.
  2. 2Slice the lemon in half. Peel the garlic.
  3. 3Pop everything in a freezer bag. Gently push out any air and seal the bag. Using another full bean tin crush, mush and smash the beans until they form a smooth paste.
  4. 4Serve with delicious breadsticks and slices of carrot and cucumber.
