Picky Eaters

If you have a picky eater, as parents we seem to take on all of the personal responsibility, guilt, shame and anxiety that so often goes with this.

As parents we seem to pin our self worth on this hot topic.

The issue is so much bigger than us as parents. It is such a multi-faceted issue with contributing factors arising from some many places, media, celebs, environment, school, genetics, culture and customs to name a few.

To be able to implement change we use first to able to detect, recognise and accept the problems that we face. As parents we must first focus on ourselves, assess that situation and then move on to learn the skills, tools and strategies to help them. To begin we need to understand some basic psychology and physiology.
